Teacher/ Choreographer

I am an Exercise Science/ Pre-Physical Therapy student at Ball State University. I am in various honors society including one honoring the top 7% of my class, Phi Kappa Phi. This past year I studied and wrote my final thesis on the neuromuscular disorder, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I fell in love with researching this disease and hope to continue researching for a cure when I graduate from physical therapy school. During my time at Ball State I have completed internships with the Ball State Adult Fitness Program, Methodist Sports Performance, Positive Results for Kids, and Ball Memorial outpatient and inpatient physical therapy. I became very interested in physical therapy through my time with dance my freshman year in college and decided this is what I wanted to do, along with obtaining a minor in dance. With my minor, I have been in several showcases and departmental performances. I am also the secretary of Rhythms Dance Troupe at Ball State and have danced for many causes through this organization as well as half time performances for basketball games. I also recently had a performance with Instant Noodles from America's Best Dance Crew.
